Beginner and Intermediate Class


Beginner/Intermediate Description

In the Beginner/Intermediate class students will have a review from a beginner's class and an introduction to an intermediate level class. We accept students who have some sailing experience and knowledge, and those who have already completed a beginner class with us or another sail school. Students will be participating in a swim test w/life vest on the first day along with a capsize recovery drill. Please ensure your child is equipped with the proper items for class: water bottle, closed-toe shoes, shorts, sun shirts, hat, towel, sunscreen, and lunch. (Note: bikini's & high-rise shorts are prohibited). Student registration form can be accessed here - https://www.learntosailswf.org/youth-registration.html. 


EACH STUDENT MUST BE AT LEAST 8 YEARS OF AGE TO ATTEND THESE CLASSES

Students must also be no older than 17 yrs as well.

  • Closed-Toe Shoes
  • Hat
  • Sunglasses
  • Sunscreen
  • Clothes that can get wet
  • Towel
  • Bring your own lunch Monday-Thursday (Friday is Pizza Party)
