June 17 - June 21

(Ages 8 - 11 or Grade 3 - 6 only)

This class is intended for our grade school students, in grades 3 - 6, who are brand new to sailing, or have minimal experience. Each student will sail alone (or in a pair) in an Opti or PICO. Instruction will be on self-rescue and water safety, and on building students' confidence by way of traditional lesson plans. Students will be expected to be moderately independent, self-reliant, and have a stronger ability to follow direction and instruction. On the first day of each new session, students will participate in a basic swim check. While life jackets are provided and required when on the water, each student should be comfortable in and around the water and have basic swimming skills. We ask that students wear appropriate shoes (closed-toe) when participating.

You MUST complete both the Mandatory Registration Form and Pay for classes in order to have your seat held for classes. Limit 12 per week.
