NEW For the 2024 season - Flying Junior

The Flying Junior (FJ) is a 2-person competition boat that is a light, maneuverable boat at 13 feet long, 4 feet wide and weighing in around 220 lbs.  Slightly shorter, narrower and lighter than the C420, the CFJ is designed to go upwind, fast.  Narrow bow entry and a more rounded hull shape than the C420 means better upwind feel at the sacrifice of the ease of planing.  A three-sail boat, the CFJ has a smaller main, larger jib and smaller spinnaker than the C420.  The main sail is trimmed from the traveler bar in the cockpit and instead of having a mainsheet bridle to change trim angle, there is a traveler, which can be slid to windward or leeward.  Additionally, jib trim angle can be adjusted from sliding jib block cars.

The SailQube
The SailQube is a small, single-handed sailing pram intended for use by children up to the age of 15. It is one of the most popular sailing prams in the world.
SailQube are used for beginners. The boats are essentially the same as an Optimist. Very small children are sometimes "doubled up," but usually the boats are 'single-handers'. In this mode children gain confidence and improve their skills: These are the first boats many beginners will sail.

The Laser Pico
The Laser Pico is a sporty, sturdy, rotomolded-polyethylene dinghy just under 12 feet in length. It combines a spacious, self-draining cockpit and a high boom and create a boat that is a comfort to sail. The Laser Pico is also quick and easy to rig. so students spend more time on the water. The unique Laser Reef system, designed to reduce the sail area when desired, can be operated while under sail. This enables instruction to continue despite changing wind conditions.

The American 14
The American 14 has a comfortable cockpit which easily accommodates three sailors and an instructor. It has a mainsail and a jib, so every member of the crew has a job. When using this boat, the instructor can teach the basics of sailing while the kids also learn the importance of working as a team.

Laser
The Laser, at 13'9" is a very popular one-design sailing dinghy normally sailed by one person but two are allowed.  We recently added Lasers to our feet to encourage our older, more experienced sailors to experience the thrill of speed and performance.  we have two different sail rigs  for these boats to satisfy different wind conditions.

NEW FOR 2024!!! - We've acquired two 4.7 "mini" rigs, making this exciting boat available to our younger/less experienced sailors!

Aqua Finn
